Energetic Hygiene for Death & Grief Workers
Do you leave work feeling heavy? Are you numbing with tools that you know aren’t healthy? Do you know you need to do something - but aren’t even sure what that means?
Join Joko of Mourning Space and Spiritual Hygiene expert Basha* for this important workshop on noticing and cleansing your energetic field.
Date and Time: November 14th from 10:30-Noon Via Zoom
That heaviness you feel? That is energy.
Sometimes we carry it in our bodies and it can feel like exhaustion, irritability, disconnection or reaching for things that help us numb out.
Learn how to address it directly by tapping into your auric field, create energetic boundaries, and cleanse with simple but effective techniques you can use every day.
This is what they don’t teach in traditional schools or in the western model of grief and loss, particularly to morticians, coroners, or hospice workers but also social workers, therapists or other professionals that work in death, dying and grief work.
This is for:
Morticians, Funeral Professionals, Grief workers, Coroners, Social Workers, Therapists, Doulas and others who work with the dead and the dying, or with the friends and loved ones managing deep grief.
Those who understand they need spiritual and energetic hygiene but aren’t quite sure what that means and what to do about it.
You will leave with:
A better understanding of your own energy
New, non-destructive tools to deal with the heaviness you are carrying
Simple and practical ways you may create and hold boundaries
Simple and practical methods of energetic and spiritual cleansing.
This workshop draws on spiritual practices and lived experience in death and grief work. You don't need to have an established spiritual practice to participate, but we do ask you bring curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Two Scholarships available:
If you are currently employed in a funeral home or as a death doula and are unable to afford the retail cost, please reach out for one of our two pay-what-you-can scholarships. Please email at hello@mourningspace.com and give us a general sense of your income and why attending is important to you.
